| ULTRA HOBBY PRODUCTS 2003 JET PROJECT Steve Moon and John Grigsby spent much of the Spring and Summer building the Boomerang for Kilroy Richardson. Kilroy works at Mike's Hobby Superstore with John. Steve and John built the airframe and Kilroy did the radio, electronics, and engine installation. The covering job was handled by John Lawsen. The Boomerang is not your typical speedster jet. It is a fully aerobatic aircraft with amazing performance. The Boomerang was built from a kit by Alan Cardash of England. It utilizes basic balsa and ply construction with sheeted foam wings. It has a wing span of 96" and a length of 96". Needless to say, the Boomerang is a BIG plane.
